From their origins in 1989 establishing both vineyard and winery, Alpha Domus located in the vicinity of the historic Bridge Pa Airfield was one of the first single vineyard producers in the renowned Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District of Hawkes Bay.

The grapes for The Cumulus Methode Traditionelle Blanc de Blancs were hand harvested and whole bunch pressed from our clone 6 Chardonnay block, planted in 1991. Elegantly dry in style it exhibits a fine and persistent bead, with creamy brioche aromas from malolactic fermentation and time on yeast lees in the bottle. Fruit sweetness balanced with natural acidity and green apple freshness create a mouth watering and lingering finish, with zero dosage Cumulus is a return to natural authencitity. The perfect aperitif and a great accompaniment through all courses.
