Zipline & Native Forest Experience

Award-winning EcoZip Adventures offers state-of-the-art, giant, flying-fox ziplines and an eco-immersive forest walk for nature lovers of all ages and abilities.

With a complimentary pick up from the island's ferry terminal at Matiatia Wharf, or from Oneroa Village bus stop if you're already on the island, you'll enjoy a highlights mini-tour of beautiful Waiheke Island en route to our base perched on the island’s second highest point, overlooking myriad pretty coves, bays and vineyards. Upon arrival and welcome at our visitor centre, you’ll be checked-in, geared-up, and readied for one of Auckland's most eco-friendly activities!

Our series of dual flying-fox ziplines will fly you smoothly side-by-side with a partner or friend first over our working vineyard, then over and down into a stunning tract of ancient regenerating native forest. In the company of our expert guides, you’ll later wander beneath the cooling canopy of the forest, learning how your participation is helping to restore and protect this natural taonga.

With a choice of drop-off locations afterwards, including the island’s main villages and many restaurants and vineyards, we'll make sure you have plenty of things to do on the island!

Complimentary pick up and drop off from Waiheke’s Matiatia ferry terminal, Oneroa Village and other locations by arrangement.

DURATION

3 hours excluding ferry travel to Waiheke Island.

WHAT TO BRING

Wear comfortable clothes and bring sunscreen and a hat, or a hoodie or jacket if the day looks cold.

CONDITIONS

You’re never too young or too old to enjoy an EcoZip Adventure, however to participate, you must weigh at least 30kg (66lbs) and not more than 125kg (275lbs).

We welcome youngsters, but do require that at least one adult zips with groups of children under 16 years of age.
