Pegasus Bay wines are made by the Donaldson family who were pioneers of the north Canterbury wine industry. There highly regarded range of wines are produced from there home vineyard that is now over 30 years old.
This was an ideal grape growing season with a warm summer and a long lingering dry autumn. Low crop levels have given this wine extra concentration. There are plentiful aromas and flavours that are reminiscent of citrus fruits, honeydew melon, pawpaw and tropical spices.
