27 Year Old Single Malt

This Single Cask release from The Glendronach Distillery is part of their 18th annual release, a series of whisky releases with differing ages and barrel maturation carefully selected by Master Distiller Dr Rachel Barrie.

This bottle comes from Cask 6049, a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon filled with spirit in 1992 and left to mature for 27 years. Just 694 bottles exist worldwide.
Expect notes of plums, cherries, walnuts and winter spices with a similar taste profile and long finish.
