Hand-picked from the legendary Surtherland-Till vineyard planted by Ivan Sutherland in 1983. Ivan was the man behind Cloudy Bay and more recently Dog Point. With 30 years of vine age and restrained barrel aging akin to a white Burgundy we see this wine cellaring beautifully. Clay bound gravels proffer both volume and aromatic lift, and the Mendoza clone conspire to provide tiny berries, thus high dry extract.
