Terra Sancta means special place - our goal to capture the essence of our privileged part of the world in each Terra Sancta wine. With four vineyards and a winery based 

in the premium Central Otago subregion of Bannockburn, our soul is the Terra Sancta Estate on Felton Road - the oldest vineyard in the sub-region, originating in 1991.  Every wine is consistently linked to a particular part of Terra Sancta and like our unique labels, crafted to convey a story of provenance.  

Very rare for Central Otago, a dense seam of limestone runs through Terra Sancta's Riverblock, one hectare of Chardonnay vines, planted with three premium clones that beautifully express the complex, mineral rich soils in which they are planted. Handpicked, from extremely low yielding vines, this rare Chardonnay is designed to express the beauty and sophistication of cold climate Chardonnay from this very special place. The nose is complex with bright stone fruit, hazelnut, warm spices and white flowers. Highly textural, elegant and mineral driven, it has a long, intriguing finish.
