AI Vision Inside

Enjoy a smart way to manage your food. Using an internal camera*, AI Vision Inside** can identify certain fresh food items when put in or taken out and allows you to manage a food list***. You can view door bin images, get recipe suggestions, or manage 'Use by date' by manually setting the date.

* Red light will turn on when camera is working. User's appearance can be captured, but surroundings other than food item will be automatically blurred.

** As of March 2024, AI Vision Inside can recognize 33 food items like fresh fruits and veggies. If the food is not recognizable, it may be listed as unknown item. AI Vision Inside cannot identify or list any food items in the fridge door bins or freezer. It recognizes food items based on deep learning models, which may be updated periodically to improve accuracy.

**** The SmartThings App is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. You must use a same log-in account between the devices.

Beverage Center™

Enjoy plenty of refreshingly cold and flavoured water. The Beverage Center™ is inside the fridge, so it is less likely to get contaminated. As well as a water dispenser, it has a dishwasher safe* and BPA free** 1.4L AutoFill Water Pitcher for purified water, which can be infused with fruits or herbs.

* Tested for 125 cycles in accordance with the “Mechanical dishwashing resistance of utensils” test method (BS EN 12875-1:2005) and certified as dishwasher safe by SGS.

** Bisphenol A (BPA) is found in polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins, which are often used in food and beverage containers, and has been linked with possible adverse health effects.
