18,000ft Tandem Skydive

Experience a natural high as you jump out of a plane from 18,000ft above Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. Feel your adrenaline shoot up as you freefall for 85 seconds, followed by a few blissful minutes under the parachute. Admire views of snow-clad mountains, lakes and glaciers as you descend.

Elevate your heart rate as you dive off a plane from 18,000ft! After a safety briefing, you will board the aircraft for an exciting flight over the Southern Alps up to altitude. Once you've reached 18,000ft, you'll inch closer to the edge before leaping out of the plane with your instructor, freefalling from the sky at 200km/h for 85 seconds. The parachute will then be launched and you'll float peacefully to the ground for a few minutes. Admire unparalleled views of temperate rainforest, glistening toothy mountains, icy rivers, lakes and of course the dazzling Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers as you descend. It's a truly unique way to witness one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Under 12 year olds will be assessed on the day.Our maximum weight is 100kgs. We can sometimes accommodate guests up to 120kgs, but this at the discretion of the Tandem Master on the day and dependent on weather conditions. A surcharge may apply.
