Our Matariki pendant features bright sterling silver stars illuminated against New Zealand Black Pounamu. Inspired by the Matariki constellation "Nga mata o te ariki Tawhirimatea" Celebrating the Maori New Year, signifying time of reflection, connecting with friends & whanau, and new beginnings.
This pendant is presented on a 925 sterling silver box chain measuring 45cm long, with a 5cm extension chain for additional options to wear at desired length.
Our Matariki Pendant measures 4cm wide and 3.5cm high, 4cm including bail. Weighing approx. 12.5grams. Black Pounamu is all sourced from Hokitika, where Nick personally travels to collect.
