The Barnstormer Syrah 2022

From their origins in 1989 establishing both vineyard and winery Alpha Domus located in the vicinity of the historic Bridge Pa Airfield was one of the first single vineyard producers in the renowned Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District of Hawkes Bay.

Family owned they have always been inspired to create beautiful wines of worth; the importance of quality and expert craftsmanship paramount. Barnstormers were daredevil pilots who roamed the countryside during the heady days of the roaring twenties, bringing aerial excitement to a public thirsty for this wild new thrill.

Our Barnstormer with heady aromatics of violets and liquorice spice aromas, is a medium-bodied wine, flavoursome with dark berry fruits, and subtle toasted notes from French oak barriques.
