The Intruder (Ruru)

Something is charming about the patina of age, the stories grunge and decrepitude tell, and who may have taken advantage of a vacancy. This piece features one of our most favourite native birds - the ruru (morepork) owl.

This digital painting is based on original photographs by Judi and additional ephemera. It is available as a limited-edition print on archival fine-art paper in sizes large (40x40cm, edition of 20) and extra-large (80x80cm, edition of 10), with an additional white margin. Each piece is hand-signed, editioned, and printed with archival inks on heavyweight paper and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Prints are shipped rolled using acid-free packaging.
