If used without the lid, liquids can be quickly reduced into a delicious sauce thanks to the wide, flat base of the pan. High sides and depth prevent splattering or spilling and allow for easy stirring. This durable pan with Le Creuset's 4 X Tougher Non-stick coating is suitable for use on all hobs, including induction and oven-safe to 260°C.  When cooking, manage heat in pan, low to medium heats only will prevent the pan from overheating and avoid damaging the non-stick surface.  Use metal utensils with care and never any utensils that are sharp or abrasive.  The lifetime guarantee gives peace of mine for manufacturing faults.
