Created in response to artwork 'Siren' — a collaboration between Jasmin Sparrow with friend & artist Jade Townsend, the Veil Necklace acts as a single thread from the artwork's dense veil. Irregular shaped pearls are threaded and knotted onto a contrasting black silk, providing a dramatic material language. This effect is further explored in the necklace's length, measuring at 1.2 metres long it can be worn doubled around the neck, crossed over the body as a sash from the sea, or crafted into a belt to provide luster and accent to layered fabric.
