Established in 1991 by Dunedin surgeon Dick Bunton, Rockburn won gold at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards for its very first Pinot release, and from that point on there has been no looking back.
A blend of Parkburn and Gibbston Valley Back Road vineyards, the Parkburn portion wild-fermented in French barrels. The result is a tropical meets herbaceous Sauvignon with smoky capsicum and herbal characters embellished by notes of oak and flint.
Weighty and textural.
