Eye On the Prize (Pīwakawaka)

Flipping and turning through the air, a tiny piwakawaka fantail chases an even tinier meal. Piwakawaka rarely fly in a straight line. Instead, they use their fanned tail to twist and turn with incredible aerodynamic skills.

Based on an original photograph by Judi, this artwork was transformed with digital artistry into a soft, sketchy, pastel-style painting. It is available as a limited-edition print on archival fine-art paper in sizes large (40x40cm, edition of 20) and extra-large (80x80cm, edition of 10), with an additional white margin. Each piece is hand-signed, editioned, and printed with archival inks on heavyweight paper and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Prints are shipped rolled using acid-free packaging.
