Open Edition Freehand Digital Art Print by Cathy Hansby
One of New Zealand's most important birds. Kereru are one of the last birds, able to swallow the large fruit seeds of native trees, distributing them far and wide. They indulge on fermenting berries, and are known to fall out of trees from the alcohol and their natural clumsiness.
Created by local artist Cathy Hansby, drawn freehand using a digital tablet and desktop. Her modern style captures the personality of our unique wildlife, with bold colour and subtle detail. Cathy's art supports NZ Forest & Bird with their conservation work. Featured in shades of teal, green and violet, with a striking white chest and pop of red against a forest green background. Each art print is printed to order, producing a high quality Giclee fine art print on smooth archival art paper. Giclee is one of the best reproduction methods available, using acid free paper and the latest archival inks. Prints have a lifespan over 100 years.
