Crafted from over two hundred weighted black onyx beads, the Midnight Necklace is a sharper take on the classic pearl string. Created initially for Harris Tapper's NZFW 2026 collection, it nods to the collection's gothic spirit, viewed through a romantic lens. Threaded onto black silk, a knot is held between each bead to enhance the irregular doughnut cut. The overall effect is a 1.2m string made to be worn looped across the body, or around the neck and knotted low at the sternum, or crafted into a belt to enhance the waistline.
