Oro Necklace

A generously sized black mother of pearl shell is laced onto a softly textured cord by a sculpted gold clasp. The tension between the size of the shell and the suppleness of the black cord, gives this necklace its dynamism. The inclusion of gold, as a meeting point between the two intersection shapes and materials, exaggerates the shell's organic qualities. The Oro Necklace is an elevated nod to the 00s obsession with oceanic motifs. Can be worn multiple lengths - long, short or as a belt. A black mother of pearl shell is attached to a textured cord with an 18k gold plated silver pendant, finished with rhodium plated silver sculptural caps to finish the necklace. Necklace length 110cm.
