This piece captures a beautiful scene discovered along the Waiomu Valley trail, on the Coromandel Peninsula. Nestled off the Thames Coast Highway, Waiomu was once an active mining site, with many of its ruins now overgrown and reclaimed by nature. This artwork features the curious entrance of a former mine on the right-hand side, now softened and transformed by layers of moss.
